Message from the President:
Strength in Unity – Why the iCare+ Network Matters
To our iCare+ Participating Members,
In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, it’s more important than ever that we, as independent pharmacy professionals, stand together—especially when it comes to delivering accessible care through digital innovation. That’s why the iCare+ Telemedicine and Remote Patient Monitoring Network is more than just a program—it’s a movement.
This network is built for the patients who need us most: the uninsured, the under-insured, and those burdened by co-pays they will never meet. iCare+ gives these patients access to affordable, convenient, and meaningful care through independent pharmacies—like yours—that they already trust.
But the power of this network goes even further. iCare+ is how we position ourselves for the future. Historically, many health insurance payers have overlooked independent pharmacies because we’ve operated independently, without a unified infrastructure like the big chains. iCare+ changes that. It gives us the structure, scale, and sophistication to attract payer attention, to advocate for fair reimbursement, and to show that independent pharmacies are ready for the digital era of healthcare.
To those already participating: your leadership is helping to shape what comes next. To everyone on staff: understand the “why”. This isn’t just about technology or telehealth—it’s about caring for your community and proving that independents can lead in value-based, digital care.
This is not an overnight journey. But if we remain patient, stay committed, and continue to work together, iCare+ will open doors once closed to us—and deliver real impact where it matters most: at the counter, in the consultation room, and in the homes of patients who rely on us.
With appreciation for your dedication,

Embracing Change in Your Community Pharmacy
Embracing change starts with a mindset shift. Community pharmacies have long been centers of trust and care—but to stay relevant, change is necessary. Adopting and utilizing digital tools, like iCare+, isn’t just about keeping up with trends; it’s about rethinking your role in healthcare and being open to new ways of delivering healthcare value to your patients.
Clinical programs like remote patient monitoring and virtual health care services help you offer more than just prescriptions. They let you step into a clinical role, provide continuous support, and meet rising demand for accessible, tech-enabled care. This positions your pharmacy as a modern, competitive player in the healthcare space.
Change can be uncomfortable, but it’s also essential for pharmacy sustainability. Pharmacies that adapt and grow with technology will thrive—building stronger patient relationships, unlocking new revenue, and ensuring long-term success in the rapid transformation of today’s healthcare market.
Are you ready to start your transformation? We are excited to offer you a free continuing education program to help you on your journey.

Supporting Independent Pharmacies in Women’s Health:
How the Center of Excellence Can Help
As more women seek accessible healthcare solutions, pharmacies have a unique opportunity to expand their role in women’s clinic visits and overall health support. The Center of Excellence at IPC is here to help independent pharmacies navigate this evolving landscape.
Through iCare+, independent pharmacies can leverage digital health solutions, including telemedicine services, to connect patients with healthcare providers for essential women’s health visits. Whether it’s consultations for birth control, menopause management, or general wellness, our platform makes it easier for pharmacies to offer seamless, convenient care.
Additionally, our support services provide pharmacies with resources to improve patient engagement, enhance medication adherence, and optimize clinical outcomes. By integrating iCare+ solutions into their offerings, independent pharmacies can strengthen their role as key healthcare access points in their communities.
Women’s health is a priority, and with the Center of Excellence, independent pharmacies don’t have to tackle it alone. We’re here to support you—because when pharmacies thrive, patients benefit.

Supporting Independent Pharmacies with Remote Patient Monitoring:
Women’s Health Focus and Practical Updates from the Field
With Mother’s Day around the corner, it’s a great time to focus on women’s health. Whether it’s managing chronic conditions, staying on top of wellness checks, or carving out a little time for self-care, remote patient monitoring can be a helpful tool in supporting women through every season of life.
On the RPM side of things, we’ve been making steady progress. Out of our four pilot sites, three are officially live and up and running. It’s been inspiring to see the collaboration, problem-solving, and momentum happening across the board. Each site is helping us learn and shape what RPM can look like within the iCare+ family.
If you’re still exploring whether RPM makes sense for your pharmacy, we’ve created educational materials that give a clear, down-to-earth overview of what RPM is and how it works. It’s a great starting point for anyone who’s curious but not sure where to begin.
We also recently hosted a live, one-hour CE session focused on RPM, and it’s now available on demand. If you haven’t had the chance to watch it yet, I highly recommend giving it a look when you have a moment. It covers the basics, the benefits, and how to make RPM a meaningful part of your workflow.
As always, I’m here to support you, whether you’re ready to launch, just starting to learn, or somewhere in between. RPM is all about connection, convenience, and empowering patients—and I think that aligns perfectly with the heart of what we celebrate during Mother’s Day.

Product Updates
The last few weeks have yielded a large stride in our IT and backend performance for the iCare+ platform and support systems. Recently we were able to finalize and roll out a new ticketing system that allows real-time reporting of issues and bugs for both iCare+ support staff and the end users like yourself. This feature is currently live and can be accessed at support.myicareplus.com/support/home or from the iCare+ home webpage.
We’ve also made improvements to the RPM feature’s architecture to streamline the workflow of this growing feature, as well as continually improving the patient user experience on the iCare+ app and the web-based portal.
As the program continues to gain traction and adds new participants, both pharmacies and patients alike, we ask that you provide any feedback you have to help us continue to evolve this program. Please send suggestions directly to COEteam@ipcrx.com for our review and consideration, thank you as always for being a valued member of the iCare+ network.
